A 23-year-old man was shot in the chest outside a notorious strip club on Staten Island early Wednesday, authorities said.
The man was shot about 4 a.m. during a confrontation in the parking lot of the Xcess Gentleman’s Club at 2945 Arthur Kill Road in Charleston, police said.
Just before the shooting, the victim approached the suspect’s car during a fight that may have involved a woman who was with one of the men.
The gunman fled in a gray four-door sedan, police said.
The unidentified victim was listed in stable condition at Staten Island University Hospital, officials said.
The jiggle joint — formerly known as Curves — is the same spot where a New Jersey cop reportedly was partying before he set off a fatal wrong-way crash in 2015.
Former Linden, NJ, officer Pedro Abad Jr. drank before he drove down the Staten Island Expressway and slammed head-on into a big rig in March 2015, killing two passengers, fellow cop Frank Viggiano and pal Joseph Rodriguez.
He was convicted of vehicular manslaughter and faces up to 25 years in prison.
Curves closed after the crash and reopened as Xcess.
