Fantasy Football Waiver Wire NFL Week 14: Ezekiel Elliott, Noah Brown, streamers and more
It’s a bit thin in the Week 14 fantasy football waivers, but it’s that time of year, and outside of the Rhamondre Stevenson and Tank Dell injuries, we don’t have a ton of must-grab waiver wire pickups. At least we have Ezekiel Elliott and Noah Brown in play, plus a few interesting stashes for the playoffs.

HEADS UP
Players must be under 60% rostered on Yahoo
Listed in order of preference — I’ll often prioritize potential upside over immediate middling production
No FAB suggestions: It varies wildly by league tendencies and always relative (ex: if you lost your RB1 to injury and there is a clear backup, you’re going to be more aggressive)
Streaming QB and TE are grouped together — weekly ranking can change once projections/ranks run — DST could shift a bit too
😤 = I Tried to Tell Ya — players included for several weeks (not much more to add if you don’t want them)
🔍 = Check if Dropped — players whose managers might have cut for other need or impatient
🎯 = Long-Term Target — players with starter+ upside who require patience (stash picks)
🫡 = Backup/Next Man Up — players who have almost no value but starter+ upside if injury ahead of them
RBTouch% — RB touch percentage — percent of team total RB touches that player had
TmTGT% — Team target percentage — percent of team total targets going to that player
G2G and GL — Goal-to-Go (inside the 10-yard line) and Goal-Line (inside the 5-yard line)
TmAirYD% — Team Air Yard percentage — percent of team total air yards going to that player
WAIVER WIRE RUNNING BACK RANKS
Ezekiel Elliott, NE — Rhamondre Stevenson has a high-ankle sprain, which could be the end of his season and positions Elliott as an RB2 the rest of the way.
Keaton Mitchell, BAL — Not quite De’Von Achane, but the upside is undeniable, and Mitchell was pushing for the most work before the Ravens bye.
DeeJay Dallas, SEA — NOTHING more than a one-week option on the chance that Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are both out for Week 14.
Khalil Herbert, CHI — The Bears backfield could be a full-blown committee at this point, but until we see it shake out, any lead running back — assuming Herbert is the top option — is worth rostering.
D’Onta Foreman, CHI — Foreman might be second, first, heck, even third and inactive. The Bears are clear as mud, but as with Herbert, stash these options until we know for certain.
Tyler Allgeier, ATL — Lowest snap share ever for Allgeier, even more curious by the fact that Bijan Robinson shares more in wins than losses. Weird use, and the Falcons should be in most of their remaining games, giving us hope for RB4 value in a timeshare with Robinson, and Top 20 value if Robinson ever were to get hurt.
Ty Chandler, MIN — Was outperforming Alexander Mattison on touches before Week 12, then hit the bye. Even if Chandler is a clear backup and impossible to use with a Mattison injury, all it takes is that one injury.
Tyjae Spears, TEN — Obvious pickup. If Derrick Henry is out, Spears is a Top 20 option. Even if Henry plays in Week 14, Spears should be universally rostered on that upside and his value as an RB3/4 most weeks. If Henry were to miss time, Spears would rank first, but apparently, Henry doesn’t have a concussion.
Chase Brown, CIN — 🫡 Being the next man up in addition to possibly getting more work down the stretch (Bengals evaluate Brown as a potential 2024 option) puts him here as a lesser Allgeier.
Antonio Gibson, WSH — The Commanders are on a bye, which gives Brian Robinson time to heal, but if he’s not back for Week 15, Gibson is worth stashing for his RB3 value.
Chris Rodriguez, WSH — As with Gibson, if Robinson is out for weeks, Rodriguez would share with Gibson and be a flier against the Rams in Week 15.
Ty Montgomery and JaMycal Hasty, NE — 🫡 Next options after Zeke, but it’s hard to see either with real fantasy value given this offense.
WAIVER WIRE WIDE RECEIVER RANKS
Noah Brown, HOU — It could have been better with that one missed connection, but Brown had a huge stretch before his injury, and now Tank Dell’s injury puts Brown atop the chart with Nico Collins. That gives Brown WR3 value, at a minimum.
DeVante Parker, NE — Even if Douglas is back, Parker is as well and a top-two receiver for the Patriots. Unfortunately, it’s tough to see a good game against the Steelers secondary.
Joshua Palmer, LAC — Clearly the best option as the Chargers No. 2 at this point, but Brandon Staley saying they “hope” he can return at some point doesn’t sound great. If Palmer returned, he’d be the top receiver. Palmer is here on that upside but with the added risk we don’t see him this week or even longer.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, SEA — It’s hard to trust JSN without an injury to DK Metcalf or Tyler Lockett, but he’s starting to cut into the opportunities for Lockett and become a WR4/5.
Quentin Johnston, LAC — Jalen Guyton didn’t make the most of his chance as the No. 2, and as long as Joshua Palmer stays out, Johnston is a boom/bust WR5, partly due to his inconsistent hands.
Odell Beckham, BAL — Beckham had a small run going before getting dinged up ahead of the Ravens bye. There is a chance he’s a WR4 the rest of the way, as the Ravens might need to pass more and don’t have Mark Andrews.
Jalin Hyatt, NYG — Big-play rookie who can get more opportunities down the stretch to show off for 2024.
Curtis Samuel, WSH — Even while on a bye, Samuel is worth stashing, and as mentioned for some time, while healthy, he’s been the most consistent option for the Commanders. If not on a bye, Samuel would be up behind Doubs.
Dontayvion Wicks, GB — This assumes Christian Watson is missing time, and more than one week. Wicks has the upside to push for a top spot but is still developing his positional awareness and refining his routes. But if Wicks capitalizes on his talent, WR3+ value could be here (someone to think about for 2024 too).
Rashod Bateman, BAL — Similar to OBJ, the Ravens will need people to step up behind Zay Flowers, and if Beckham struggles, Bateman could finally capitalize on his talent… and being healthy.
Parker Washington, JAX — Deep flier with Kirk out. Though, Trevor Lawrence will miss time, making Washington more volatile even if he hits.
MEH 😒
Alec Pierce, IND — First 100-yard game of his career. First game with more than 53 yards this season.
Xavier Gipson, NYJ — First game over three targets or two receptions. And it’s the Jets.
